She’s been with us for nearly two decades, and when you hear what makes her tick, it’s easy to see why our customers can’t get enough of her. Whether she’s offering expert advice, soothing worries, or tracking down hard-to-get parts for your repair, Angie’s energy and dedication make our shop stand out in St. Louis and the Webster Groves community. Let’s take a moment to get to know her better.
Q: Angie, what led you to join the automotive repair industry in St. Louis?
“I started in about 2000, working in the parts department at Napa. I stumbled upon the job from a good friend of mine. I didn’t know a whole lot about parts and cars at that time, but I always knew I loved to help people and always loved the challenge of finding things that were hard to find.”
Q: What brought you to Master Auto Repair in Webster Groves?
“In 2007, I met Lori. She called Napa and asked me to deliver a part. When I walked into Master Auto Repair, she and the previous owner, Mike Najjar, offered me a job. It didn’t take me long to decide. The answer was yes. I started working full time at Master Auto and have been with Lori since then. She’s not just my boss – she’s become family.”
Q: You’re known for your expertise in solving tough repair problems. Can you share how your experience with parts plays into that?
“At Master Auto Repair, I continue to do what I do best – helping people and finding those hard-to-find parts. Whether it’s getting a rare part or helping with repairs, I enjoy problem-solving and making sure our customers get exactly what they need.”
Q: Can you tell us more about your family and how it influences your work?
“I met my husband when I was 14 years old, and we had our first daughter at 19. We got married in 2001 and later had another daughter and a son. In November 2019, my first grandson was born – my pride and joy. Since then, I’ve been blessed with four more grandsons, and they bring so much happiness into my life. Being a grandparent has truly changed me. I live my life for them, and I absolutely cherish every moment I get to spend with them outside of the shop.”

Q: You’ve been through some personal challenges. How did those experiences shape your approach to helping customers?
“I ended up losing both my parents and my younger brother later on in life. It was a very rough time for me. But even in those tough moments, I’ve always had my family to lean on. That’s helped me appreciate how important it is to support people, especially when they’re facing difficulties – whether it’s car troubles or life challenges.”
Q: What do you enjoy most about your role at Master Auto Repair?
“I love helping people. Whether it’s diagnosing an issue or finding that tricky part, it feels good to know I’m making a difference. It’s not just about fixing cars; it’s about solving problems and building trust with our customers. I’ve built so many wonderful relationships with customers over the years, and it’s great knowing that they rely on us to keep their vehicles running smoothly.”
